It would appear to me that this contest has gone thru its ups and downs, maybe just been a little miss managed or worst of all allowed itself to narrow its vision to only one select area of the province. I don't mean to point fingers at all but this event seemed to draw a number of people when I was there and it would be a definite shame if it were to go the wayside of so many other events especially after you have been having the contest for so long. Move out of town and go where you might be appreciated! Forget the Nevada tickets!....There are companies that dish out millions of dollars per year to host one of these events. Promote the past success and blow your horn.......Get Chevy Trucks involved and add a country station sponsor.....offer up a bigger top prize and let all the others be happy with their placements (make sure the judges are blindfold first!). I'm sure you must be getting hits on a regular basis to your site and you've drawn competitors from all over North America. Flog your Website! Not sure what your answer is but I would hate to see the event die. I wish I had more time to help.....and I just might next year.....But I truly hope you can succeed in coming thru for this year. You may be lacking in ticket sales but chin up and keep trying! I believe you have a worthwhile event here!

Correction........forget Chevy/GMC or any of the big North American Manufacturers...........they pollute too much....get Toyota or Honda to help out. As for radio stations.....well they are a dime a dozen. How about getting a guest appearance form some musician or group (Canadian of course) to show up?
